Your pet has a face only you could love — and now you can colour it in. Here's exactly how to turn any pet photo into a beautiful, printable coloring page.
Step 1: Choose the right photo
The quality of your coloring page depends heavily on the photo you start with. The best shots share a few things in common:
- Good lighting — natural daylight is ideal. Avoid flash, which flattens features.
- Clear focus — a slightly blurry photo produces blurry line art. Sharp is better.
- Front-facing or three-quarter angle — side profiles work, but faces produce the most expressive results.
- Uncluttered background — the AI focuses on the main subject, but a busy background can add unwanted detail.
Step 2: Upload your photo
Go to Create Coloring Page and click Upload Photo. You can use a photo from your camera roll, drag one in from your desktop, or take a new one on mobile.
Step 3: Wait about 10 seconds
Our AI converts your photo into clean black-and-white line art. It removes colour, traces the outlines, and produces a page designed specifically for printing and colouring.
Step 4: Preview and download
You'll see a preview of your coloring page. Happy with it? Download the high-resolution PNG and print-ready A4 PDF. Your first page is always free.
Tips for the best results
- Dogs with strong facial markings (huskies, dalmatians) produce stunning line art.
- Cats photographed head-on with eyes open give the most detail.
- Fluffy breeds work better than you'd expect — the AI picks up fur texture beautifully.
- If your first result isn't perfect, try a different photo. Lighting makes the biggest difference.
What to do with it
Print on 80g/m² paper or heavier. Set your printer to Best Quality and print at 100% scale — don't scale to fit. The PDF is formatted for A4, so it prints perfectly on standard paper.
